On August 30th, my husband Christopher and I lost our son, Stone Henry Carter. Although Stone was only here for a short time, he left the biggest impact on our lives. When we received the news that he had passed away, we knew that God was in control and that Stone’s life would have meaning.

It’s true what they say: “There is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”

After losing Stone, our family, friends, and community came together to support us in more ways than we could have ever imagined. This inspired us to start The Stone Carter Foundation.

​

Our foundation provides support to families who experience a stillbirth or the loss of a young child. Our hope is to serve these families by creating and sending custom Blessing Boxes, helping with medical and funeral expenses during the holiday season, organizing retreats for loss families, providing infant sleep socks to moms navigating pregnancy after loss, sending Christmas care packages, and meeting other needs that arise during these unimaginable times.

We hope the name Stone Carter will outlive us and continue to provide comfort and support to families for years to come.
